Yorklyn’s Auburn Valley is exempt from New Castle County’s authority as it relates to enforcing land use regulations. The DE Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) has responsibility for these functions in this area, as per Section 80 of Senate Bill #125: Auburn Valley Project.
